Up to date....
OK so now that I have had a chance to create Lennon's blog from day one I can be more accurate with things. I really should have started this a year and a half ago! Isn't it crazy that my busy busy child spends all day exhausting me but after he goes to bed I blog about him? That's love! He is my little blessing. These pictures were taken tonight. He was trying to unlock his "house" with my keys. He is so smart!!! Also I've added a few of him in his monkey slippers that his Grandma Becky sent him.
P.S. He had his 18 month check up today. My little man weighs 25 pounds and is 32 inches long. He is 50th percentile in height and weight. How much more perfect could he be?!

Lennon learning to walk
This is a video of Lennon first starting to walk. He kept saying "cheese" because he saw the camera in my hands! So Silly!
Lennon's Christmas #2
This is a video of Lennon that my mom took. He discovered how to turn the music on! And the cord wrapped around everything is a cord to my brothers headphones. He likes to try and plug them into his guitar amp.
We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! I think Lennon has more toys than I have ever had in my whole life now! He is a very loved baby. He understood Christmas more this year and was able to open presents and say "oooohhh" and "aaahhhh." It was so much fun!

Halloween 2008
A few weeks before Halloween we went out to a pumpkin patch in Millington, TN and picked our own pumpkins and I thought it would be fun to put Lennon in his costume. He also attended the Zoo Boo with my mom but on Halloween he was sick so we didn't get to go trick or treating! And I wanted to get a few pictures of him on Halloween but he was sick so they turned out kind of sad! Oh and our green pumpkins didn't turn orange in time but we carved them anyway!!

Lennon's 1st trip to the Beach

We were lucky enough to spend a week in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida this summer. Lennon loved the water! We spent a lot of time on the beach, in the ocean, and in the pool. We even took a boat ride which he loved! We got to see dolphins and we even saw a shark! He loved riding in the little blow up boat. The ocean soothed him so much he would fall asleep almost immediately when we got into the water!

June 25, 2007 The moment my life truly began

I am a very lucky girl. I have been blessed with the love of my life, Lennon Wesley Hess. He is amazing and so much fun! I can't even remember what my life was like before him. Being a mother is my most proud acomplishment by far! I am happier than I have ever been and I would not change a second of my life because I am so pleased with the outcome, despite some pretty tough obstacles. They have made me learn that I can handle whatever life is going to throw my way and I will find happiness in it. I could not ask for better friends or family. They have all been so wonderful and supportive through everything and I love them all so much for it. Someday I hope I can be as wonderful to them as they have all been to me.
Charlotte and Lennon
I have started this blog because Lennon and I have a lot of friends and family that do not live with us here in Memphis. I hope this will be an easier way to keep all of our loved ones up to speed with our lives. He grows so fast! Everyday is a new adventure!
P.S. I should have started this a year and a half ago so I am going to do my best to catch up
